Peanut Butter Coconut Woofies

 Our boxer liked to tear things apart when we would leave the house. 

We were always against caging him up when we left, because we feel as if it is his house too. 

So in a attempt to stop all the shredding of things while we were gone,

we started giving him 2 treats when we left. 

Slowly but surely the madness stopped. 

I honestly don't know if it was because of the treats or him just getting older and wiser. 

I'm not willing to find out so I continue to give him treats. 

Coconut Raspberry Jello Cake

We recently lost my Grandma in February.

Which officially made me grandparent-less. 

I'm still trying to come to terms with that.

It's been almost 4 months and I still can not wrap my head around her being gone. 

She's one of those women who I believe would live forever.

It's going to take a LONG time for that hole in my heart to heal, if it ever does.  

To be honest with ya, I'm fighting back the tears as I type this. 

Grandma made an amazing Mandarin Orange Cake.

As soon as I saw this recipe it reminded me of her and her cake. 

With her in mind I knew I had to make it. 

Chicken Nuggets Part II

So, towards the end of my homemade chicken nugget batch Karleigh started to not care for them so much. I'm bound and determined to find one that she likes that is not fried, but baked. I will admit that I will get her chicken nuggets when we are out and it's lunch time or something, but I hate doing it. I refuse to buy a bag of frozen chicken nuggets, when I can make them myself and know exactly what is in it. 

Blueberry Pie Bars

I love blueberries, if they are baked in something or mixed up in a smoothie. I don't know what it is about a plain blueberry that I just don't care for. Oh well, there are a gazillion recipes out there for baked blueberry treats and here is one of them.

Meatloaf Cakes Topped with Mashed Potatoes Sprinkled with Corn

Is it just me or are cupcakes every where you turn? I don't really understand the craze about them. I guess it's the bite size portion of cake that you can buy with out feeling the need to eat the whole cake that sits right in front of you. But who's to say you don't buy a dozen cupcakes and eat them all? I dunno, maybe you can explain it to me.

Chicken Nuggets Part I

Raise your hand if your go to food for your little one is chicken nuggets. Now don't you look silly raising your hand in front of your computer! Every Momma I know always has chicken nuggets in their freezer. I don't know about you, but I'm getting concerned about what companies put in our food. Half the names you can't pronounce and all the salt and sodium they are loaded with just makes me want to cringe! So, I went on a hunt for a homemade chicken nugget and I hit the jackpot when I found these.

Mini Corn Dog Muffins

I have had a ton of homemade recipes saved up to make for our daughter, but never actually went to some of them until now. This is one of them and I am so excited about it and I believe she will really enjoy these.

I've done it, I've spoiled my furbaby even more if that is even possible. Rocky came along before our daughter did, so I consider him more less my first child. I freak out over him the same way I do over my daughter. He likes to hide on me and you should see my frantically run through the house trying to find him. 

Sweet Potato Stuffed Baked Apples

Holy Moly Guacamoly! Are these O...M...Goodness good! I have a crazy tooth when it comes to sweet taters and these by far top all the sweet taters I have ever had in my 26 years of life! My husband isn't much of a sweet potato fan, but he loved these! There was no surprise when Karleigh took a liking to them as well, she's sweet tater crazy like her Momma! 

Hearty Sausage 'n' Beans

I don't know about you, but I actually enjoy Friday the 13th. We have bad luck as it is, so for some odd reason these days are always better days for us. Just the way our luck rolls I guess. I didn't even know it was Friday the 13th till I jumped on Pinterest this morning. The date of today has nothing to do with the dish that I made last night. I just wanted to get my two sense in on it since everyone else had as well.
