Granny's Beef Veggie Soup

My husband requested this a few weeks ago and I couldn't deny it to him. I did do it different, since she did it on the stove in a pot, I just tossed all of mine in a crock pot. It is very delicious. I got the recipe from his mother, since his Granny has since passed. All it was meat, potatoes, veggies, and tomato juice. He didn't know that I doctored it up some since it seemed a little too dull for me. He said it tasted just like Granny's so I did something right!!

Ingredients
  • 1 lb stew meat, cut in smaller pieces (this is just a personal preference for me, you don't have to do this)
  • 3 to 4 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 2 lbs  frozen veggies
  • 1 Qt. tomato or V8 juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp minced onions
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp beef bullion granules

Toss all ingredients into a crock pot.
Set on low for 4 to 5 hours.

HAPPY EATS! :)
