Chicken Parmesan

I was up late last night talking to my dad on the phone for an hour and a half about cooking, recipes, etc. After I got of the phone I went on a recipe hunt, not looking for anything in particular just really looking. That's when I ran into this delicious dish on Full Bellies, Happy Kids.

Meatloaf

Ah meatloaf! There are so many different ways to make it. I had only made my mothers version before a got this one and I haven't made my mothers since! I actually don't think I will ever make a different version from this one ever again! It is just that good to me!

Fruit Cocktail Cake

This recipe I got from my father. He had gotten it from his mother who got it from Sister Teresa Ann back in 1968. My mother in law has been saying that Granny always said the best cake was a fruit cocktail cake. As soon as my dad gave this to me (which I didn't know that he had) I knew I would soon be making it.

Easy Homemade Donuts

These are so simple to make. You could easily make these w/ the kiddos. Have them stretch out the dough, you fry them and have them cover them in the mixture of their choice! I just wish my baby girl was old enough to enjoy making these w/ me.

Snickerdoodles

Ah, Snickerdoodles. The staple of Christmas, right? So, it will be a complete shocker when I tell you, this is another goodie that is going in the tin that I am making family members for Christmas. *GASP*

Farmer Brown

Any one that doesn't live in Southern Indiana doesn't seem to know what Farmer Brown is. It's really nothing special, just hamburger, mashed taters and cheese. Like me, the majority of people around here probably first had this in school. When I was in school I didn't care for this. I never made it till I got with my husband in 2007 and who would of guess that I now like it.

Chicken Mozzarella

This was found in a little cook book that my mother-in-law bought me called Campbell's Casseroles.

I didn't at all plan for this meal, it was just one of those "I have everything on hand and I don't feel like making anything else" meals. I didn't have the rotini like the recipe calls for, but noodles are noodles in my eyes.
